High School Musical star rushed to hospital
Zac Efron was rushed to hospital yesterday suffering from appendicitis, his publiciser has confirmed.
The 'High School Musical' star had emergency operation at the Cedars Sinai Medical Heart and soul in Los Angeles, and is said to be doing well.
Efron became a stripling heartthrob with his starring function as Ilion Bolton in the hit Walter Elias Disney movie 'High Schooltime Musical' and its sequel. He besides starred in the cinema 'Hairspray'.
He was hospitalised a day afterwards Walt Disney Studios announced that he and his 'High School Musical' co-stars had signed on to appear in the theatrical performance film 'High School Musical 3: Elder Year'.
